Soon to be on the home page of the JBFC is a trio of instrumental songs, all Hawaiian tunes, recorded by JERRY from a live show.
This is NOT a studio recording.........
Hope you all will enjoy it. |

This great steel guitar instrumental is now up and running for your listening enjoyment.
Just listen to the technique and tone that went into this performance. |

well i don't know which are the 'newly added' tunes from the list, but i just heard JB wail some amazing swinging lines on Little Grass Shack...i know people don't associated JB with the 'swing steelers' of the era, but he could swing as hard as any of them if/when he chose. whats cool about that track is its stereo but the other side is muted so we hear what Jerry is doing on the backup and its smoking. _________________ '65 Sho-Bud D-10 Permanent • '54 Fender Dual-8 • Clinesmith T-8 • '38 Ric Bakelite • '92 Emmons D-10 Legrande II |

That is 100% correct.........
I was checking to see if you guys are really paying attention to the material I post up for you. Thanks
for catching my miscue.
I still believe this to be one of JERRY's finest performances.
This medley consists of three songs from Jerry's CD
titled "BY REQUEST". They are; Night of Tropical Love; Hula Lady; and, Maile Swing.

Oh, I really like that. Jerry has been my favorite since I started playing in 1950. I used to sit with the little 45 rpm turntable and my two Jerry Byrd records and try to play along on my Alamo lap steel. |
