Anybody ever own a early fiftys Fender double 10.I am talking to a guy about one that he has owned many a years.it is a 1952 has 10 pedals 1 knee.Were they a decent instrument? Know any Value? Were the pickups Good? Thanks for any help? I appreciate it

I don't think Fender made double 10 string guitars until the mid 60's.

maybe i misunderstood him on the phone,he was a older gentleman and not a great connection.I will try and google some fender info,sounded like the serial number was in the 300`s

I found a older email from the guys wife it is a Fender 2000, it must be from the early 60`s, i am going to repost the question wit new info,thanks guys

Fender didn't even start making pedal steels until 1955, and they didn't make a D10 until 1964. Winking
