Tommy if you happen to see this I was curious after watching the Allison Moorer video in another post if that was the Evans Hybrid 200 you got from Bobby Reed. That was a great sounding amp and another one I should have kept. Great tone with the Bud and the Evans.

Hi Billy,
That video is nearly 20 years old. The amp was an Evans FET 500. The steel, a Sho-Bud "round front" Pro 111 custom.
The Evans Hybrid 200 I purchased from Bobby last year has recently been re-tubed, biased ,equipped with new reverb pan and new Eminence speaker. It was in sad shape and unusable before the upgrades and repair. Sounds real nice now! |

Thanks for the reply Tommy. I recognized the brown face Evans but didn't realize the clip was that old. I also had one of those Pro 111 customs with believe it or not E-66 pickups that was one of the best sounding steels I've ever owned, incredible highs, clear and sweet. Glad to hear the hybrid is up and running good, another great Evans amp.
