Is there someone who can help me where to find spare parts such as bellcranks, pullrods, nylon spacers etc for an Emmons Le Grande 2?

Is the Emmons company the only place to order from or are there any others?

I wouldn't order from Emmons if I were you.
I think they're gone friend.

Reports are that they're still OK for parts. I'd talk to Cass or Stafford (isn't John Widgren a dealer too?) anyway for parts.

People seem to get parts pretty quickly from Emmons. They probably just take the one's for the guitars they are building and sell them.

Richard, I would talk to Lynn Stafford in Oregon US. He´s a dealer for sure and he did an oustanding job with my Emmons a couple of month ago. I´ve got his mail address if you´re interested.

Emmons parts are still available and, yes, there are several highly reputable individuals who often can get those parts pretty fast.

Many Emmons parts are not manufactured solely for the company. That is, pull rods, nylon bushings, collars, rod hooks, and many other parts and material are available if a person takes the time to search the gazillion sites that sell hardware. Of course, some items need to be made. For example, rods would have to cut and threaded to fit a user's application.

It's been my experience that Emmons knee lever kits are tough to get or are prohibitively expensive for my pocketbook. Fortunately, one of the gurus who works on my steels is also an incredible machinist and the knee levers and brackets he makes are identical to original Emmons'.

As for the Emmons parts that are not available through commercial hardware sites? Such as bellcranks? Well, for me, it's "grab 'em when you find 'em" Even if you don't need them right away.

You can use any bell cranks that will fit the square cross shafts. I have a couple of Derby bell cranks on my) Emmons Legrand. Willie Sims.
