The driver saw the damage and brought it to Vic personally to see it and take pictures. _________________ The only thing better than doing what you love is having someone that loves you enough to let you do it.

I spoke with the rep from the carrier. He feels the damage was caused from a drop off the conveyor or the truck. If that's the case, I "imagine" Fedex will assume reponsibility.

That might not be comforting news. They occasionally say that such a drop is a foreseeable hazard and should have been packaged to withstand such. So although that LOOKS like an admission of "oops", it might not be. But with only a $400 repair bill, they might cover it anyway. Don't let them off the hook. _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)

I feel that may be the case. However I'll stay with it. _________________ The only thing better than doing what you love is having someone that loves you enough to let you do it.

Update
I took Lane's and Tony's advice and called everyday. The last call I made was to get the small claim court info. To make a long story short Fedex has agreed to pay $400 for the repairs to my PSG.
Thanks to all for for the help and advice! _________________ The only thing better than doing what you love is having someone that loves you enough to let you do it.

It's good to hear something like a happy ending.
The United video is a good public service announcement. |

I received payment from Fedex in the amount of $484.00 dollars today. I suppose I could have held out for more but I'm happy with what I got. _________________ The only thing better than doing what you love is having someone that loves you enough to let you do it.
