A buddy came across an electric and an acoustic steel while setting up an estate sale. Any idea what they are and what their value might be?

It looks to me that the acoustic is not a steel, but is a regular guitar with a raised nut. I have no idea what it is. The other one is a real steel, but I don't know what kind...sure someone here with more experience will be able to id it for you soon. The acoustic is probably not worth much at all...the other one looks like a decent guitar.

| I'm pretty sure the acoustic started it's life in the Harmony factory, it has an odd configuration at the nut, so, it may be a designated steel guitar. Not very valuable. The electric , I'm not so sure about, but I have seen that style of bridge on 1940s Regals. No idea what it would be worth. |

I'd say he got a good deal. They look like lower end models, but certainly usable, assuming the electronics work. Hard to put a value on them, based on not much info, but I'll venture a guess of $250 - 300 for the electric and $75 - 100 for the acoustic. |
