Lane, that's probably the lock for strings 4 and 8 after they are lowered to give you a B6th on a Universal-12.

Very nice and I think reasonably priced it looks like a switch and knob on the end, on/off and volume?

It is a on off switch for the tone control.
With switch off the pickup is straight to the output jack. With it on the tone control works so you can adjust it to how you like the tone.
This may have been something special added to the order when built for Norman Hamlet.

It looks like the hardware is there for 2 more pedals. Is that correct?

It is the Excel that is made in Japan.
I will have to get the copendent written down and I will post it for you then.
I don't have the copendent all in my head from memory.

I sent you a email with the coped. Hope it came out correctly. This one on the forum did not come out the way I have it on the coped table.

I wouldn't say no interest. This is a very nice guitar that is at the high end of the market. This caliber of instrument just takes more time to sell. Smile

I'd agree with Niels. Rather than closing it, I'd just let it sit. The rare birds take longer to sell.
