I can't find a way to e-mail them that isn't getting all molestery-freaky and nosey at me, no I DON'T want to "unite all my platforms", thanks anyway Muffy! Can the "fretboard" be removed and a flat one put on, in order to make capo-ing a much easier & efficient task? |

Not sure how MSA is doing, but could you not just call Kyle (Bennett)? _________________ Redline Resophonic

On mine it looks like the frets are machined as an integral part of the fingerboard base. Black blocks are later mounted between the frets to give the appearance of a "normal" ebony-like fingerboard. Frets could be ground down but not removed.
Replacing the fingerboard would involve heating and removing the black pieces, filing the metal frets flat, and installing a new fretboard on top of the flattened, metal fingerboard base. |

I have never had a need for a capo on my 12 string, but why not get in touch with:
http://www.charliescapo.com/
and check whether you could get a custom made one?
There was a thread about this earlier this month.
But I'm not that picky to begin with, I thought that the old beard capo worked well enough on my dobro as well. _________________ Redline Resophonic
