GET INTO THIS GUITAR THIS WEEKEND!!!
I wanna sell it NOW
Dropping from $2500 to $2100. This is a VERY special guitar!

I bought this guitar in 2008 from Ed Packard, who had it built. As he describes:

"It was made as a batch of ten for me, by Sierra. Tom Baker assembled them.
The hardware used in the PST 13 models was from the Sierra Session Series.
The pickup is by Danny Shields."

It has been fantastic and I hate letting her go.

It's in fantastic condition, mechanically and cosmetically.
Keyless Tuners. Danny Shields pickup is SWITCHABLE!
The only thing thats happened is the two little plastic screws that tighten the rod with the pedals to the legs had these little wings and the wings broke off. I never felt the need to replace them but I'm sure they could be purchased very cheaply. There is a picture below.
It has 4 pedals, 4 knees and one vertical. I have an Excel spread sheet for serious shoppers!

I'd like $2500 plus shipping. Comes with excellent case that I have flown with and not had to check 3 times.

Featured on several records by Eric Lilavois:
https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/the-only-way/id412680282
(Right On Time & The Giant... in particular)

I've played and heard this great guitar; lots of desirable features for the right player. Interchangeable pickup is a big plus in my book. You can always change up the strings for "standard" 12-sring universal, or even way loaded extended E9. When I saw it it was super clean and practically brand new, still appears to be in that condition, and Joel is a stand-up guy.

Hey Joel. Wouldn't you be happier playing this and GIVING me your ZB? 14 strings will allow you to play more music than a 10 stringer. Laughing

Sorry pal. Couldn't resist.

Oh well!!!

14 strings gives E69,A6,B6 AND EM13 with 4P and 5L.

The range is bass, baritone, tenor, and soprano on one instrument.

4 tone chords use adjacent strings, low string is the chord root...we talkin' Jazz chords here like M7, m7, 7, 9 and add you bs and #s to these.

More info and charts for chord location if interested.

I second that bump! Guys this is an essentially brand new Sierra for a super deal price, and you'll have more strings on one neck than all the other kids on the block! Danny Shields pickup is probably worth $150-$200 alone, they're famous for their tone (precursor to the Tone-Aligner pickup) and no longer made with Danny's passing some years ago. Joel, what are the dual output jacks all about?

Thanks John!!! Oh the dual outs are great!! I'm sure there are some interesting ways to use them but I was using one for my normal line out to the volume pedal and then the second out to my tuner that I had mounted on a leg!
Really great cause then you can turn your tuner off and save the battery without it effecting your tone or taking it out of line.
