Hi!
Can any of you recommend the chair for playing called Soundseat? Their website is [http://soundseat.com]
I have been wanting to buy a nice chair to sit in while playing for a long time now. The price for one of these (including customs+shipping) is the same as the price of a made-to-measure office chair with the same specifications here in Stockholm where I live.
The price of the chair in itself is $380.
I want a chair that's a little lower and more like a tractor seat than one of the usual steel guitar box-chairs.
Do anyone here know an alternative or a drum chair that is ok?[/url] |

I can tell you that for much less than half the price you can get a very good drum throne. As long as its specs match your needs, I can't see the need to spend that kind of money. If it lasts 25 years instead of 75 years....so what? |

+1 on the drum throne. After a surgery a few years ago I had to sit on stage for a while. I got a Roc-N-Soc and loved it. _________________ www.tomgraymusic.com |

Thanks for the replies!
I found the solution on ebay: A used Soundseat black leather top mounted on a Roc'n'Soc base!
Gotta love the names they come up with for these chairs |
