I really enjoy listening to the way Zane crafts this tune and makes the Jackson literally sing!

I don't think so either. If I ever heard one I didn't like, I can't remember. My personal favorite is" the shadow of your smile". Hat's off, to you Zane.

Or, how many 19 year old kids could play like this? The man was a born steeler!

Zane, I love your playing a bunch and will remain a fan of yours... I just wish the Jackson was out of the picture and you were back on the BMI steel but, a man gotta do what a man gotta do. Anyway, no matter what you play or play on you're an excellent player and server of the Lord....JH in Va.

I don't want the tough job of choosing a song out of all that's on the net from Zane, but this one I never get tired of. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Va_KQghPrA&feature=player_detailpage Plus his duets with Donna, simply can't find a bad one.

Todd - I remember now you asking about that. I'll dig into that and see what I come up with. I've, of course, heard that tune all my life but never even thought of doing a steel solo with it. Very Happy

Thanks Jerry - the Jacksons have been mighty good to me. Zane Beck as you know was a like a Dad to me. I'll forever hold all of his accomplishments close to my heart. In many ways, I feel I'm carrying the torch onward for him. I'm so blessed.

Thanks Joe - these duets with Donna are so fun. We are going to do more of them. Shadow is just one amazing song for steel guitar. That right there is definitely my Zane Beck influenced moment.

OK, I'll play - I always liked his jazz fusion number, "Fruit Loop" as it captures the 70's fusion sound so well, yet the steel gives it that unique edge. I don't listen to fusion much anymore, but it's a fun tune!

I appreciate it Zane. Check this video out...http://youtu.be/rf8f32cDAXA

One of my favorites!!

You were the first person I thought of for several different reasons, two of which are: 1)I knew you would jump in with both feet if you decided to give it a whirl, because your passion for music is top of the scale, Pun intended. 2) I knew you would make it your own and by all means add as many of those fine instruments you know how to play, it doesn't have to all be just PSG.

Surprise us all!!

Wally I didn't intend to hijack your post, so guys please chime in as Zane has many tunes to choose from.

Zane and Donna are very talented people and not to mention They pretty good folks too!! Very Happy

Zane, take care my friend and keep doing what you do.

I, just like you all, love all of Zane's tunes. But hey.....i like his guitars to. The best steel zane own's is that nice BMI keyless. Keyless rules....just ask zane!

And his wonderful wife, can sing anything you ask her to. Zanes best songs, are with his wife singing. The dynamic Duo..Great job zane.

I am also the late Zane Beck's #1 fan. One of these day's zane, we'll have to talk about Zane Beck, and the LP he put out called "Zane Beck Plays The ZB Student Model". I just love that LP. Mr Beck, plays so many nice waltzs' on that LP. Who was the gal singing on that LP with zane beck? she's great to. I converted it to digital, and play it constantly!!!

Hi Zane. My wife and I started going to Scotty's convention in the late 1980s. You were there. I believe they said you were sixteen. Wow, we were blown away by your playing. I had a little tape recorder and taped your set. I listened to it many times and often wondered what you were up to, as we didn't see you at shows. So glad to see you have been doing well. James
