Looks just like mine, which is also a rosewood 'mica. I've had it since '77 or '78. Rebecca at the Emmons Guitar Company told me in a 2012 e-mail that it was built in 1973. The only major difference that I can see is that mine has the die-cast brown and white badge, and a fatback cabinet. Oh, and by the way, its serial number is #1714-D.

Mine sounds really good to me, and when properly adjusted it rarely needs tweaking. It was highly recommended to me for purchase many years ago by a former Forumite who is widely recognized as an expert on push/pulls. They just don't make 'em like this anymore.

I'm surprised your beautifully polished and restored tone monster has yet to be spoken for, Ernest. Those old push/pulls ring like a bell, and you need a calendar rather than a stopwatch for timing their sustain. A true classic!

I had 1710-D, D-10, 8/4, fat back black/charcoal matte, the badge was also metal. Mine ordered in November of 1971 delivered in January 1972. Had the aluminum brush finish knee levers, wide pedals and pedal spacing. Lord, I wish I had that one back! It was a tone machine for sure. Still got the original volume pedal that came with it.
