That's a good looking Lap Steel Stephan.
I've made a couple and posted pics here on the Forum. I purchased ready made fretboards from Bruce Wei, he's on eBay with his products, but he will also make inlays to your own design.
I've attached a pic of the last one I made. I sealed the wood and painted it with good quality spray paint, including 4 coats of gold glitter, then re-sealed it all again.
