Congratulations on joining the select club of "nastygram" recipients.

They also told me .....'s a clueless ..... :0

Don't fall for that nonsense. You seem to be smarter than that.

In recent email correspondence with Maurice Anderson he stated the following:
Quote:
I can tell you for a fact I have received numerous emails from people who say they have continually detected a bias in your posts about MSA. I cannot say I have specifically seen it, I only relayed that to you which I have been told time and again. The only time I write you is when I observe you saying something which is not accurate or only partly true, and each time I have to wonder why you would say anything you were not absolutely sure of when its so easy to verify it with me first. Surely you know I will not betray those people who have asked I not divulge their name, but I can assure you, they do exist or I would not have told you so.
If this is indeed true, I am very upset that these people have not contacted me, either publicly on this Forum or through my email which is public and available to anyone.

I am always quick to correct any misinformation that I may post on any topic, and am now going on public record that if someone has a beef with me, please be man (or woman) enough to confront me with it personally. I don't like and shouldn't have to hear it from a third party.

Now that it's out in the open, I have a beef with you... No, make that, I would like to share some beef with you sometime. Maybe dinner if I can ever get my wife to let me go to Texas.

I'm trying to avoid red meat, but somehow saying "I have a turkey with you" just doesn't have the same meaning.

If this is a jump on Jim post, then I will too! (Ha! Ha!) I have never disagreed with anything he has ever said, he is tactful, very knowledgable, very open and honest, I don't know him personaly as well as I'd like to but possibly the future will take care of that. OK, I guess I'm a Jim Smith fan. Even when he argues with me! When he does, I listen, he's usually right!
I don't feel he should have been jumped on by anyone because of a "third hand rumor" ,a possible derogatory flavor, statement that the "jumper" claims he didn't even see for himself! Huh? What's wrong with this picture?

Jim, it's obvious how many friends you have on this forum, don't be hurt by one e-mail.

I have received numerous emails from people who say they have never detected a bias in my posts about MSA or any other topic, and none to the contrary. I also received emails from people who say they have received similar emails, so I will put this matter to rest.

If anyone would care to pursue this further, please contact me at my email address listed above. This topic may be closed.

I've known Jim for,nearly,25 yrs.,(Reece, even longer) & have NEVER known Jim to say ANYTHING derogatory about MSA,or any other guitar. If he,indeed, has these feelings,he most certainly, has kept them to himself. I consider, both,Jim & Reece, very dear friends,& will "go the limit" for either one! Seems to me like someone is tryin' to start some s__t between these 2 guys. J.M.O. (no "H",'cause I ain't humble.)

Closing per Jim's request...

but before I do, let me say, don't let one (or several) emails ruin your day. Just hit DELETE. I've always enjoyed reading your posts, Jim.
