Gabby's steel playing on "Blue Hawaiian Moonlight" got me focused on playing Hawaiian steel guitar. Subsequently, I've got other recordings of Gabby playing steel. e.g.: "How'd Ya Do" on the second Gabby Hawaiian Band LP. I have a source that has a lot of Gabby's steel playing, but not for general release. He played steel with Andy Cummings, btw. _________________ Jack Aldrich

David Nalu is on steel.
Jack, that's Palani Vaughan in the pic with guitar, not Pekelo. |

That's Palani Vaughn between Atta and Gabby. If you can find Gabby Pahinui Family and Friends video you can see Gabby playing steel, most likely with that same group. _________________ I wanna go back to my little grass shack........ |

I will be attending the kanikapila at WaimÄnalo Beach Park on the 9th with steel, a few local musician friends and with Gabby Pahinui's tunes in my head...
