Yes,,,,Miles originally,,,then Big E,,,,Buddy used to always do it at shows,,,great tune to "stretch out" on,,,,,

Bob Taillefer did a nice job on it on a compilation cd he put together in 1999 of all Canadian steel players. Name of the cd was "Northern Steel".

| If my memory serve me right "it may not" Mike Sweeney has that on one of his CD's and yes he does a fine job with the tune. |

The tune is actually entitled "Freddie Freeloader." There is no "the" there.
From Miles' "Kind of Blue" album, one of the best-selling jazz recordings of all time.
