I never could find a compact board like I wanted, so i built my own. Is this something like you're looking for?

If you happen to have Boss pedals, they make a nice unit that holds 3 effect pedals, just about right for a steel player.

Pedaltrain used to make a mini pedalboard too I think. I haven't seen one in a while, but they may still be available.

That is beautiful work Darvin. Might I ask where you get hinges like that?

Sorry to hijack your post Rob, but at least you're getting lot's of bump ups.

Danny, I think all of that hardware came from http://www.reliablehardware.com/. I've bought hardware from several different sources, but reliable has about everything you need for projects like this.

Hey Winston,
Thank you very much for the generous offer. But that's a little bigger then what I'm after. I may just go with the Boss 3 pedal case as Erv suggested.
Robbie
Very Happy

Erv:

I have severalof these BCB-30 three pedal cases and I put the Boss PS120 power supply velcroed in the top left corner and then just push a power cord on and you are good to go. Nice unit with a Boss OS-2 distortion, DD-3 and Fender reverb by Boss.
