Here we go again.

We start at 1:00:

Live Band: Deb Smith, Tim Rooney and Kenny Sawyer

For sale table next to the stage, price it to sell, after all, you do not need it any more anyway. Laughing

Scott Hay and Mark Simpson will be showing off their Lynn Stafford and Bob Littleton master pieces. Hopefully Bob Muller will bring the "Barbara Mandrell" PP, it is also a beauty.

As usual we have some E9th and C6th, some medium tempo and faster tempo, hopefully most players can take a stab at all of the songs. Ray Price shuffles a plenty.

John McClung are you out there? We will be waiting for you. Washington state steelers that goes for the rest of you too, the roads are clear.

Song list so far:

Blues in C

You Win Again: A

Sorry I'll have to miss this one. I'll be playing 150 miles north of there that day.
BTW I'll be down your way March 22 at The Landmark Saloon and there and again April 11 and May 10.

Laarry, thanks for the info. I hope to make it. Also think I might be able to persuade Dan Tyack to carpool down with me, we live about 20 minutes apart now. We'll be in our new house in early April, I'll have my teaching biz shingle up by mid-May. I've had several very welcoming greeting notes from PNW steelers, thanks all, nice to get such a warm welcome. That's why I always call us steel players a family or tribe.

can someone please post the address and parking instructions?

3500 SW 104th
Beaverton, OR 97005

You can unload right at the front door, and park inside 100 feet in the lot right in front of the door, free. Pretty nice setup.

Welcome!!

Josh, I'm betting that more than a few licks got lost in the move. Maybe only misplaced. Looking forward to meeting you and your posse.

I'm planning to make this one. Always a fun day of steel! Plus with all those new Emmonses - I'd hate to miss it! …maybe I'll bring the ol' push pull this time…

TTT for those who might not get to this area very often and would like to be in the NW loop.

Matt E, Paully, Steve H & T & L(3), Paul B, Ian, Russ, Neil R, Wayne M, Bob S, Dave B, pack up you crap, get off the couch and come pick a lick with us. I told you that to tell you this, "if you want to have a friend, you need to be a friend" now get on over here!

If every steeler I personally know in Wash/Ore would come I could sit 60. Just once before I die I would like to see it happen. Let's not wait until my memorial, I want to be a "live" part of the event. Get it.

It is not about how well you play the steel it is only about sharing time with others of like minds, for those that still have one that is.

You already have more licks than the other 25 players put together. Oh well as long as it is just one more. Laughing Laughing Laughing
