I am new to BIAB and wondered if there was a site I could vist which goes through the A,B,C,s of what it is, how to get it, etc? Thanks

Also you can download the video tutorial Band In A Box Made Easy by Rick Campbell. It will teach you the basics (and a bit more) of using BIAB.

Well, I'm with you Gary. This is not a simple program to learn and it is really interfering with my playing the PSG trying to learn it. I've actually put together a backing track that sounds pretty good.
Some questions I've come up with that I can't seem to find the answers to in any help files. Example: if I click on the number in the bars, it will change from the number to a blue a box. Click again and it changes to a green b. Can't fine any help files (and I've spent far too much time looking) to see what that does. Also, I wind up with a small red 1 & 2 on the top left of the bars. What is that? Can't get rid of them.
Is there any help files that just tell what all this stuff is/does? |

Don't know what you mean about the red 1& 2 numbers but as regards the others, a lot of the BIAB styles contain A and B parts which change the way the style sounds - ie - instruments used.
The blue you get when you click on a bar # is the "A" part, the green is the "B" part.
As an example - the style Country New Ballad (^C_NU_BAL)has piano, acoustic guitar and bass in "A" and strings are added in the "B" part.
Hope this helps you a bit.

Ahh, that makes perfect sence Graham. I'll have to give that a try..
As far as the numbers 1&2. I think it has something to do with the ending. I can't find anything in the help files and I can't seem to get rid of them. I guess more expermenting

| Well, in further research, I found the answer to the 1&2. It is the 1st and 2nd endings. Still not sure why I would have two of each. More research. |
