Dudes.... welcome my "new" Push Pull to the Hay stable. I just got this back from Lynn Stafford on Friday. It's just amazing, pictures don't do it justice. Been playing it all weekend. I'd been looking for a new D-10 rig for some time, and I'm super picky and had very specific criteria out of what I wanted in my next guitar. I decided to be patient. Living close to Lynn, I had the luxury of being able to sit down at a dozen or so guitars and talk about what I wanted in my next rig. Fortunately, Lynn is very patient too Smile

I chose a "non traditional" Emmons color. I really wanted a warm "honey / amber" blonde and came out exactly how I imagined (it's not as "yellow" as it looks in some of the pics, nor as orange. It's just right). 8x5 set up, matched original Emmons pickups with a lower winding of 14.5 like I prefer.

The finish work and the split cases were done by Bob Littleton from West Coast Steels. The cases were done in blonde Fender tolex per my request as well.

Lynn & Bob, THANK YOU for being super patient with me and letting me nerd out about the details and my particular requests. I'm a lucky duck.

Here's the cases:

I was at Lynn's home a week ago and saw the body only. Loving it. Hope to hear it at the next steel jam. Lynn is also redoing Mark Simpsons PP so it will be "show time".

Scott that is one beautiful guitar, and I think you made all the right choices. We are very fortunate to live in an area with so much expert help available, it's almost like having access to a guitar factory. Hope to hear you play in the band soon.

I was also lucky enough to stop by Lynn's the other day and saw Scott's beautiful guitar just before he picked it up.

The pictures don't quite do it justice - it's a total show stopper.

Congratulations to all. Can't wait to see it in action!

Chris, the fact you've earned an honorable mention speaks volumes. Having said that, I'd sure like to hear said geetar shout out some Loinel Richie instrumentals Laughing only if blondie is outfitted with LiveStrAngs, otherwise we ain't interested. What say thee Chris?

Just---remarkable. That is maybe the prettiest lacquer Emmons I have ever seen. And you must feel good about it, since you voided the warranty by not letting Mike Cass do the work... That is a seriously fine guitar. Pickups, wound just right. I wanna hear it. I wanna MARRY it....
