USED 2004 MARTIN HD-28 ACOUSTIC GUITAR WITH K&K PICKUP & ORIGINAL HARD SHELL CASE.
Serial #1030431. One owner – I bought new from Gruhn Guitars in Nashville. It plays and sounds great. I'm selling it because i'm now playing my Taylor all the time and this one is just sitting in the case all of the time!
This is the legendary Martin HD-28 with Pure Western K&K pickup and vintage mini jack in great condition with its original Martin hardshell case. The HD-28 features solid sitka spruce top, eastern Indian rosewood back & sides, mahogany neck with black ebony fingerboard and bone nut, and diamond tapered headstock joint. White boltaron binding with the herringbone-style inlay surrounding the face of the body. Boltaron binding is also featured on the back wIThout the herringbone. Played very little and is in great playing condition. It has new Martin Marquis Light strings, and the action is set between 2/32†and3/32â€. It does have one minor finish scuff on the front, 2 small areas of checking on the binding & some very light belt scratches on the back (SEE PICS). The saddle is tight and the heel is tight. K & K PICKUP - ABOUT THE VINTAGE JACK
The Vintage Jack is made by Tapastring and lets you enjoy the benefits of having a pickup installed in your instrument without having to worry about drilling out the end pin hole to the 1/2" (12mm) that a full size end pin jack requires.
The Vintage Jack replaces your existing tapered end pin to make your instrument pickup ready. Tapastring has incorporated a Switchcraft 1/8" female output jack into a precision machined end pin. Now you can install pickups in your instrument without having to drill out the end pin hole. This guitar can be put back to it's original configuration by putting back the standard end pin. i don't have the original end pin.
