I have played and owned Multi-Kords since 1948 up until recently.
Often I would switch to different pedals several times during the playing of a song. Example when I played Harbour Lights. I switched through these tunings several times.-- A. A6th, D9th, & C#mi.7th.

Then at other times I would hold a single pedal down throughout a song. I often did that while playing Steel Guitar Rag, while holding down just the E tuning pedal only.

Then I played Remington Ride by depressing just the C6th pedal throughout the song.

I never found that to be a problem for me. Admittedly it would have gotten tiresome to play for an hour while holding just one pedal down. Very Happy

For those who are not aware of it, many years ago Danny worked with the Harlin Brothers building MultiKords. He's the greatest living authority on the instrument and we're privilaged to have his expertise available. Cool
