I received notice on Facebook this afternoon that singer/songwriter Sarah Elizabeth Campbell from Texas passed away. In 1990 there was a Sarah Elizabeth Campbell that put out an awesome dobro album, Bluegrass in style which I loved. I even contacted her about her playing but never kept in touch. Can someone please help figure out if this is the same Sarah Elizabeth Campbell or if there are two performers using the same stage name? That does not seem possible, but I guess it could happen.

Looking at the writeup I can't be sure but it's very likely. I was at her Monday gig my last visit to Austin in October. Hope the Texas folks will respond.

I've known Sarah for 30 years, and i've never seen her with a Dobro. She played guitar and some clawhammer banjo, but never Dobro. THe Dobro player has to be someone else.
