I picked up an old lap steel today and I am curious of what age and brand it can be.
There is no label what so ever, not a single text or number.
The bridge is a heavy casted unit as you can see and there is a pickup with two blades. The output contact is an old two pole screw thing.
Anybody who recognize this? |

This doesn't appear to be any style of lap steel I've seen in California. I'm assuming you picked this up in Sweden? _________________ Brad’s Page of Steel

A picture of the head stock might help. _________________ "it's not in bad taste, if it's funny." - john waters |

I will post more pictures tomorrow.
I have indications from the swedish steel guitar forum that the lap steel is made in Sweden in the early 50's. |
