I picked up an old lap steel today and I am curious of what age and brand it can be.

There is no label what so ever, not a single text or number.

The bridge is a heavy casted unit as you can see and there is a pickup with two blades. The output contact is an old two pole screw thing.

Anybody who recognize this?

This doesn't appear to be any style of lap steel I've seen in California. I'm assuming you picked this up in Sweden?

A picture of the head stock might help.

I will post more pictures tomorrow.

I have indications from the swedish steel guitar forum that the lap steel is made in Sweden in the early 50's.
