No, no, Bill - I was saying:

"But 'E' plays it this way...."

Seeing as I'm the only one around here without an accent, I felt an explanation was required.

The fact that Buddy responded personally to this thread shows that he still logs on and reads comments, which I'm verry happy to see. Very Happy

Buddy is, to my mind, the greatest living exponent of the steel guitar, and will continue to be that for many years to come. Cool

not to be a big butt-kisser or fan-atic, but any day buddy posts here is a good day!

he's just got more personality and is a little more off the wall than your average buddy.

I can imagine the stage introduction, "...and now, on steel we have that great virtuoso, Horace Emmons."

Chuck Berry had a number called "Betty Jean". Maybe the Registrar had been listening to it while he was making his entries.

Scott, that's my kind of humor. I swear if I ever record it again, I'll call it Betty's Boogie and Horace Emmons will be the name I'll use as writer.
We're having fun now. Laughing

I LOVE this forum. Smile I can just see Mr. Emmons purposely misspelling E-M-O-N-D-S to the hotel clerk...haha

Well Mr. Emonds,
It seems that you've finally resolved those nagging insecurity issues. Congratulations! Now you can move along in your life to a more fulfilling future.

SHO-HO, could possibly refer to a dancer who works in a house of ill repute. Or it could refer to a highly polished garden tool. Anytime, HO is mentioned, the conversation gets SMUTTY, therefore I suggest Betty's deal with SHOT, be called SHO-BET. YOU CAN NEVER LOSE, with a SHO-BET. LOVE YOU, BUDDY EMMONS!!!!!
