Hi Sid,

I would love to attend your Jam. I will have to get a sub but I don't think that will be a problem. Keep me posted. Hey did you know Jack Fleming that worked @ ShoBud? he was my uncle.

Best wishes,

I'm kind of flexible at the point Jerry.

I have access to the Ball room at Jordan Point Country club. I attended a 50th Birthday party for Bass Player extraordinaire Keith Horne this past Saturday night at this location.

A couple of hundred folks which was made up of about 75 musicians were in attendance.

Brother, there was some serious playing going on.

We have some killer players in this neck of the woods

All I could think of is what a great place to have a steel guitar Show.

Kenny, remember what your doctor told you.

You have got to take your medicine everyday or those hallucinations will be a continuing recurrence.

Ok folks, I have booked Jordan Point Golf Club Ball room for Saturday June 9th which was the only date available In June.

Music will start at 10:00 a.m. and end when we are tired. We will have to ability to play your tracks or, I can hire some top flight musicians for the backup band. Give me your thoughts and desires on this one.

Everyone will enjoy this facility. The Ballroom overlooks the James River. There is a restaurant within the facility that everyone is welcome to use.
The address to Jordan Point Golf Club is: 1100 Jordan Point Road, Hopewell, VA 23860.(804) 458-0141 ‎

As we get closer I will provide information on lodging close to the facility.

Let me know if you’re coming so I can get you on the play list.
Sid

Jerry, I met Jack when I was 19 years old. I blew into town for the first time just to check out Gnashville. Walking up and down Broadway, I wandered into Sho Bud. Some big fellow was working behind the counter.

I picked up a guitar and started playing. Jack walked over to me and said "hey kid, you looking for a job?" I said "sure".

He called Leroy VanDyke on the telephone and said "I've got a kid in the store down here looking for a job and he can play."

The next week I was on the bus traveling with Leroy.

Yes I knew Jack!
