Post by Bill Myrick »

Sunday, April 15th, Branson Community Center--Ozark Steel Guitar Association Jam/Meeting.
Like always, I'll not comment much here, Jerry Hanley is way better than I at it and he'll chime in with more details and so will others, I'm sure. Soooo---here's some of what my camera saw -----

Image
Vice President, Charlie Steichen, welcomes the crowd at 1 PM.

Image
As always, great back up band : Dino Strunk, Russ Burns and Buddy Lewis.

Jim Kielblock

Image
Jack Musgrave (A dyed in the wool Bud man playing a GFI ?) -

Image
Like the guitar says --David Dean White

Image
Association Chaplain and entertainer extraordinaire, Jeremiah Hanley

Image
Dino tearing up "Working Man Blues"

Image
Three visitors set in briefly at the start of the second half -- Don Ray on vocals, Danny O'Neal on drums and Joe Willis (nephew of the Willis Bros) on bass and vocals.

Image
Larry and special girlfriend, Delores Lennox, enjoy a dance to the sounds of "Night Life"

Image
Not for me to blab things that I know but---- that ain't a mickey mouse ring on Delores' finger - :whoa: looks like there may be one less "Lennox" before long. ;-)

Image
Good crowd in spite of tornado warnings for the area.

Good to see Dino Strunk. Haven't seen him since we jammed at Andy Acree's New Years Jam in Springfield Illinois in the early 80's

Bill, I can't say anything better than your exhibit in pictures that you've taken. They are picture perfect and say a thousand or more adequate words! I don't think I've ever seen clearer pictures taken than the pictures you take. Keep up the good work!!
