Hi everybody,

I'm new to this forum. Joined to share some praise for an old friend, the multi-talented Jim Loessberg. Hands down, he's my favorite steel guitar player and is an all-around great guy. Jim recently engineered and produced my second studio album that just released in August. It's called "A Tribute to Waylon" and includes a fresh take on 15 great Waylon Jennings songs.

I thought y'all would love to hear Jim play some steel licks in the style of the legendary Ralph Mooney. (He also played all of the drums on the record, and even some funky bass guitar on our version of "Clyde".) Some of the playing stays true to the original recordings but Jim of course brings in his incredible signature style, too. Check out the solos on "I Ain't Living Long Like This" and let me know what you think!

Sounds great, Jim is one of the best players, and teachers there is.

Great CD and liked the tripped cord act! The arrangements are great and audio mix is pristine. Got it in my Apple Music mix now.

I just listened to a few of the songs on this recording. It is really good. Great singer.

Just got off the phone with my friend Jim Loessberg who produced this CD and we talked about what a really good project this turned out to be. I have known Jim for about 23 years and he is a great played on whatever he touches.

Take a listen, you will be surprised.
