I had the opportunity to play a guitar gig here in Austin on Friday with a band called Fingerpistol, Neil Flanz on steel. What a true gentleman, and a pleasure to share the stage with. I thought folks might like to see that 'ol Neil is lookin' pretty sharp these days!

Yes, Neil is one of the best. He's the guy that got me started with his pedal mashing instruction album.

Neil was one of the first pros to correspond with me back when I was first getting started. I've been lucky enough to spend time with him both at Dallas and St. Louis numerous times, and he is as fine a gentleman as he is a player. I have a few pics of him playing at St. Louis. If I can find them, I'll post them.
