Since we have not been posting on her in a while, I wanted to mention Amber Digby's new DVD titled "Live At Swiss Alp Dance Hall."
It is exactly what you would expect with her great band Midnight Flyer doing an exceptional job with heavy emphasis on the wonderful Dicky Overbey! It is awesome to see him in this setting with his step daughter. You can tell the pride that they have for one another.
The DVD contains a couple of extra tunes from the CD and features duets with Justin Trevino as well as some solos from Damian Green.
We are real proud of our "first live" DVD from Heart of Texas! The quality is incredible.
Thanks for being so supportive of our little Country Music label in Texas!

It is a great DVD Tracy. I forgot to grab one last weekend at the Llano deal. I saw part of it and it was outstanding.
Thanks for keeping our kind of music alive!

That is great to hear. The cut I heard was together again. The stuff he did on the open strings knocked me out. Can't wait to get my copy _________________ Emmons/Sho~Bud/Blanton, Fender/Peavey.

Whatever it takes. Dicky is one of my favorites. Always has been.
Here is the clip I saw. Shoes or not, he is giving those pedals hell.

I received my copy of the DVD today and I have already played it all the way through. This is the real deal. Country music at it's very best. I can't say enough about the wonderful singing of Ms. Digby and the harmony vocals and backup work of the band with the great Dicky Overbey on steel. And then, last but not least, the fine lead and harmony singing of Justin Trevino. Great job folks. I highly recommend this DVD to all country music and steel guitar fans. |

Hello All;
I recently got this CD & IF you like Dicky's
playing you NEED to get this CD - it is superb..
He is one of my all time favorite players - has his own sound that fits so well in honky tonk country music.
I wish they traveled out here to the west coast.
I would LOVE to see him play live & meet him.
