Anybody know who's playing on his song Pine Grove? He has a player with him on recent gigs, but not sure it's the same guy.

When I first heard this on the radio, I thought it was Dylan singing for a few bars. Solid folk-rock. No idea who the steeler is, but he has those classic licks down.

Exactly. The steel on the album's other tracks sounds like a different guy--more atmospheric.

Btw bOb, I pass through Cloverdale several times a year (my mom lives in Mendocino County, and my son Bob lives in Richmond). I always offer a loose salute (whatever that is). Thanks for making this forum happen.
