WHO--Russ Hicks and Randy Weideman
WHAT--A new line of steel guitars
WHERE--Millinium Hotel, Fulawka Room
WHEN--Labor Day week-end

Not to be confused with the Rust-ler guitar of the eighties (or there-abouts), our Russler (Hicksler just didn't sound right) is the result of many long, sleepless nights on Randys' part coming up with what we consider a premium pedal steel guitar when you're looking for the best in looks, sound, and playability.
I think we have some great steels available today; Mullen, MSA, Zum, Emmons, Franklin, Rains, Justice, to name just a few, you know about them all. All Randy and I want to do is invite you to come to our room in St. Louis and give our guitar a try and see if we can add the Russler to the list.

See ya'll soon,
Russ

You make us all very curious. Will you bring and play it in Ireland?

Best wishes with the new enterprise, Russ. I won't be making the trip to Scotty's this year, but I'm sure I'll see you soon, perhaps at Chubby Howard's or Lexington.

Very Happy We would like to thank all you Steel Guitar Forum Members for all your support on our new Russler Steel Guitar Company. If you have any questions please feel free to email or even call.

We will do our best to answer all of your questions. We are looking forward to see everyone in St. Louis at the Millinium Hotel, in the Fulawka Room. We will also have a booth in the main stage area. Our plan at this time is to bring with us 5 Russler Steel Guitars. We will have the amps, the volume pedals, the seats, and hundreds of BIB tracks to play with. We even have some singers lined up to stop in and do some tunes with us. So please stop in and steel some tunes on the new Russler Steel Guitars. We promise you a "Large Time"

We have our new web site up, it is not completely finished as this time, we have much more to show and tell, but it will give you some ideas about our design and a bunch of pictures. So give it a look and Thank you all again.

Nick the steel in the picture will be there and it has your name on it to play.

We plan at this time to have 5 Russlers there to play. So you will be able to play them all if you like.

Thank you for asking.

Looks nice, but why choose a name that is almost identical to the older brand Rus-Ler?

Why not Crater, Frankly, Somesteel, E-mons or maybe Shoe-Bud instead? Winking

Congrats on the new guitar....
I like the name "Eldorado"...I recall
seeing a old steel at your house heavily
laden in pearl inlay with that name on it...

We just finished another Russler Steel. The front and back of this Russler we used Cocobolo Wood, it is a tropical hardwood of the tree Dalbergia retusa from Central America. Hope you all enjoy the Photos. If you make it to St. Louis, you will be able to see it. Very Happy

I love the design info on your web site. Makes me want to take a test ride. First saw this guitar on my phone july 4th weekend. Thought it was a name from the past. From the your info on the site it's obviously something from the future. Don D

Russler Guitars are here to stay
And I'm buying mine today

Randy and Russ, as the old cowboy legend goes, Ace High to you both. The quality, the design, the brand all are first class. Congratulations to both of you, much success in your new endeavor.

Consider the Cocobolo wood guitar sold. I look forward to playing it in St Louis and I look forward to hearing Randy and Russ play it.

Again, outstanding job.
