Everything about it visually says it is a 1975, however the serial number does not match the date-coded format that Gretsch was using at that time.
See the links below, wish I could be of more help.

(I love the early Country Gentlemen, my first one was a 1958 which was stolen, then I bought my 1962 which I still play. I also have a re-issue, they look wonderful, but they have plastic in areas that should be brass (like in the Grover Imperial key heads).

1973 to 1981 Serial numbers

Hyphenated number impressed into back of peghead.

1 or 2 digits before hyphen = month (1-12)
First digit after hyphen = last digit of year
Last 3 digits = rank of instrument
Example:
10-5155 = October 1975, 155th instrument
4-622 = April 1976, 22nd instrument
