Hi folks....just a thought.
A BIG thumb's up for all the great steel guitar builders....Emmons...Carter...Jackson...Lamar...
Mullen...WBS...Zumsteel and many others. What would we do without them?
A big thumbs up for all of them.

I play a Jackson, so there's a huge thumbs up for Jackson-David, Harry, and Dawn Jackson at Jackson Steel Guitar Co.

Even though they are not made today we still have these floating around (maybe not the best descriptor since they are not feather-light): Kline, Rusler and Dekley. We guitarists are indeed lucky to have such a variety of choices. stevet

In my humble opinion, the best steel guitar I've ever played is the EXCEL, made by Mitsuo Fugii, also known as FUZZY.

When I posted "Rittenberry", I was on my wife's ipad. I had to change the entry three times to get it to read correctly. You wouldn't believe what it "auto correcterd" to!!!
