Vintage 1980 Gibson ES 335 Pro electric semi hollow body guitar for sale at Greg's Guitars. The ES 335model first appears in the Gibson line up in 1958 and continues in production in one of several incarnations presently. This wonderful example of the ES 335 Pro you see here was manufactured April the 15th 1980 and was number 18 in production. Striking in the antique sunburst finish as opposed to the cherry red more commonly seen in these guitars it is original and complete with torch inlay ,metal tulip Gibson tuning keys, "T" top dirty finger exposed coil humbucker pickups and TP-6 tailpiece (Just like the Roy Orbison Artist Custom shop 335) and original hard 5 latch case from Gibson.Manufactured from 1979 to 1981 . 3 piece neck, highly figured back and a very striking good looking burst top.
All original and ready for you at a killer price shipping not included in price .Overseas clients welcomed. So for those who have seen the ES 335's continue to rise in pricing and value over the years here is a good chance to get a fairly limited run ES 335(2 years ) at the ground floor.

HI Robert,
nice looking Gibson. Someones going to enjoy playing that one.
I've got a 1979 ES335CRS that is also the sunburst color on front. But the back of mine is all dark wood finish and no lighter sunburst showing through. I was wondering if the factory offered different style sunburst finish on some? This may be the wrong place to post this question..?

Without pictures it is hard to tell...But Gibson did produce single color backs. It might be better posted as an initial post in the general guitar question area though.
