About Downloading(?)

I am in Thailand and I am now downloading an upgrade from BIAB (1010.5 from version 12) and the first real track is taking hours to download. I'm in an internet coffee shop because my apt. does not have wifi. My question is, do I have to wait until this download is finished befroe I can leave this coffee shop or can I do half of the down load now, stop the downloading for a day and then resume where I left off tomorrow without losing what I've already downloaded? thanks, Don
