Here's one you won't see every day. It's a Walters from Monroe Michigan. Beautiful curly maple cabinet and loaded with a bunch of what appears to be ShoBud parts, as well as a bunch of what appears to be Walters parts. The changer, split coil pickup, pedals and knee levers all appear to be Sho Bud. The peghead, though Gumby shaped, looks like something that someone else did. Same for the end plates.
This guitar was originally a D-10, though I have no idea how long ago it was converted. The mechanics all work, and it sounds really good. There are plenty of little dings on the body, although nothing bad, and the finish is nice. There are some rust spots on the front legs. Although I'd consider it a project guitar, it plays pretty well as it sits. With a very minimal amount of work, it could be a great vintage player. Looks like adding additional knees wouldn't be much of a problem, and the fingertip changer is easy to change copedent.
Comes in its original hard case and it's heavy. Reduced to $500 plus shipping from Tennessee.
