We had our monthly meeting for electing new officers and paying our anual dues. Several was missing and guys you missed your chance of voting for new officers. Roger Osborn is still president, Larry Garrett-vice president, Virgil Pittman-treasurer and Donnley Harrington-secretary. Yours truly is still public relations. We also elected to have Lynn Carney, Bill Peabody and Zelpha Ward as honorary members to the club as they do so much to support us. We discussed our September jam to be held the 20th. We missed Vance Monday, Tim McCutchen,Don Halsey, Jimmy Hittson, Sam Hill and Gerald Sparks. Guys remember we'll meet one more month at the old medical center and then back at the Baptist Assembly in August. Everyone seem to have had a good time drinking coffee and eating cookies. Bill Peabody, Donnley Harrington, Zelpha Ward and myself sang a few songs. Some different songs were played this time which was very nice. Some of the players are getting brave enough to play Rocky Top! Still have a ways to go to play it as fast at Ronnie Neighbors. Don't forget the July meeting! Keep on steeling! |

Congratulations to all of you who were elected for the coming year. Roger and the Staff have done an excellent job. It is a favorite place for many of us to come to. We wish you the best for your plans and the future of NEOSGA. Thanks. Wayne [This message was edited by Wayne Smith on 24 June 2003 at 05:22 AM.] |
