i'd like to thank all my adoring and faithful fans for enduring 5000 semi-worthless posts since i've been a member here.

of course i realize that only 5000 pales in comparison to some of the greats, but i've never been one of the best at anything!
thank you very much (said like elvis)

Congrats, Chris! I don't consider your posts to be semi-worthless, they are always interesting to read.

I'm still way behind you but I just thought how many times I typed up something and then decided not to post it, trying to avoid adding fuel to the flame. Oh Well Very Happy Rolling Eyes

Kind Regards, Walter

One my favorite comments of yours was about playing drunk onstage. You said something like, that it would be no problem if you were drunk during rehearsal.
Very funny!

Congratulations Chris for the 5000 posts milestone, though I feel a lack of wholeness since you neglected to write something on my post titled :

Seriously, I would have placed you at -- what? -- 10-, 20-thousand post, at least. Maybe more. I mean, no, really. You just seem to pop up everywhere, like kudzu or blackberry vine. And on behalf of the band and management, I'd like to be the first to say that we, and I mean all of us when I say "we," as well as many, many more, I'm sure, even those folks who don't even play pedal steel, well, some that have not as yet been born, I think I can speak for all of them -- and us -- let's not forget "us," when passing out these acolytes, er, accolades, that you chris of the small c are one in, oh, about a very large number too huge to write here, a veritable table of veritas and etc., etc., etc.

Gotta go now...
