Hello steel guitar colleagues,

My CD 'Ukulele Hit Parade' has been nominated for the Hawaii Music Awards! Cool eh?
It is nominated in the 'Steel Guitar' category. It is NOT in the ukulele section.

Winners are determined by popular vote. I need your vote!

Please visit the Hawaii Music Awards site to vote. Here's how you do it.

1. Go to the award site: Hawaii Music Awards
2. Click on the VOTE NOW! link
3. Enter your email address - only one vote per address. You may have to do this twice (website weirdness).
4. Jump to category 'Steel Guitar'
5. Click the circle to the left of my CD picture and press the 'Submit Vote' button.
6. You will be taken to the next screen.
7. Scroll down and press the 'Review and Submit Your Vote' link.
8. Review your vote(s). Enter the code. Press the button.

Remember - my CD is listed in the 'Steel Guitar' Category.

If I win you can come visit me in my 8 million dollar beachfront Hawaiian condo (yeah right). Actually I think I just get a plaque. I don't even get a trip to Hawaii - bummer.

Thanks for your support. Did I mention that my CD is in the 'Steel Guitar' category?

Mahalo,
Gerald

Done. It is a bit sad that the Steel Guitar category in Hawaii Music Awards has so few nominees.

Kay,

You can use the voting instructions (numbers 1-8 ) to compose your own appeal but the lame attempts at humor are mine - do not use those.

And I'd like to add that it is very weird competing with my friend Kay Das for this award.

It's like two friends trying to get a date with the prom queen in high school. Whoa!

Good for steel guitar, though. It would have been very sad for all of us if neither had entered in the steel guitar category......

I love the analogy!!! Laughing
