Doug Beaumier's 60 Popular Melodies Song Book (Erv Niehaus)

I ordered Doug's song book just before Christmas and have been playing from it for a couple of weeks and I must say that it is one of the best set of tabbed out song that I have ordered yet. I have only been playing for about 1 1/2 year and it has been very helpful and playing the songs makes a begineer like my self a better player. As a begineer the songs use many chord positions that use strings away from the normal chord positions so it is a very good learning tool. I would recomend this book to any begineer that wants to improve their playing. I also want to put in a plug for Erv Niehaus from Litchfield MN and his tabbed out Gospel songs, I have many of his songs and they are great.

Dougs book is great, I use the arrangements as a sort of launching point for my own ideas, its been a great help for me.
BEST OF ALL... Doug is such a swell guy that he gave me my copy when I took a lesson from him! what a guy.
