Mike & T and The Mike & T Band wish to thank every one of you for your remarkable and amazing support for us in the "Best Band In The Valley" contest here in Arizona!! Although we've not yet heard an official declaration, it does appear that we have won the contest (wow!!!!). But regardless of whether we won or not, your relentless and faithful voting made us all feel like winners.

Here's a little steel something that I put together the last few days just for all our forum friends. It's called "Mike's Stew" because it has several ingredients...E9th, C6th, groove, ballad, etc...all from my heart.

Mike!!! You're such a monster! Your time is terrific, the control you have over the beast (!!!), and that wonderful almost vocal-like quality in the slow section....

Inspiring!

You have to do another CD...

Please???

Congratulations on your band's win Mike. You promote the steel guitar purely by your ability, and it's no wonder that many of us here voted for you repeatedly. Well done, and I hope the band gets some prestige from winning this contest.

Very Happy Whoa! Rolling Eyes Whoa! Laughing

Mike : I agree with Mickey whole-heartedly , on his description of your playing ability; First time I've had the pleasure of listening to your talent. Your take-off in the C-6th tuning was superb and then to hear you so perfectly on the E-9th neck; WOW, what an excellent presentation of absolute expertise on smooth gliding over those strings.. I didn't realize folks were VOTING for you and your band; I can surely hear why they cast their votes for you.. Indeed, I believe you are ready to produce another CD for all we forumites to purchase . Thanks for sharing..Bernie Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!

Well, they certainly have posted all the results for the world to see, with M&T at the head of the pack by a long shot. Now I just want to see them write IN PRINT that they won before I'm a gonna give my YeeHaw.

By the way, great tune, Mike! Lovely section in the middle until that Bad-Boy shows up again! LOL!
