This was considered a student guitar when National made it in 1957. It is a sold body, but it is not electric.

When I first got it, the resonator was ruined so I sent it to National to be restored. The resonator that originally came with this guitar is smaller than the ones they make today, so the company routed out the cavity to fit a new one. The sound is better, but it's not 100% original, even though it looks like it is.

This has that classic delta blues slide sound. Plus, because of the cutaweay, it's easy to access the 17 fret with a slide. It's pretty much limited to the Mississippi Delta Blues style of music, but it's perfect for that style.

Between the original purchase price, and the restoration which cost much more than I expected, I have WAY too much money invested in this guitar. I am going to have to take a loss.

I'm asking $600, which is far less than I have in it, but will take any reasonable offer.
