I believe it came with one or two, now has 4 courtesy of Lynn Stafford, done with your parts. The black looks original. Ever see a black one?

Nope, never seen a black one.
Now it's even cooler that it has my parts on it! Must play like a dream...

Question about a Sho-Bud Po I.
I have bought this instrument yesterday and there is one thing I do not understand.
The Model is a 6148 and it says that this is a 3 + 2.
This one has 3 + 4. Serial nummer is #5382
It is a blond guitar.

i

Thanks. .Harrie

Gene, Michael - Here's another Bud for your registry. Any additional info you can provide - build date, builder, would be appreciated. Very little use, but the label has gone AWOL (can see where it was affixed):

SN: 9008
Model: Pro-I
Mod #: 6148
Style: S-10
Color: Green
Pedals: 3
Knees: 2
Builder: ? (no tag)

Gene & Michael,

Fantastic work getting all the info on Sho-Bud serial numbers & dates. Yeoman work! Thanks!

I just bought a Sho-Bud 6139 blond serial number 2165.

My guess it is a 1972 based on other serial numbers dated so far.

Any other information about it would be most appreciated. Thanks!
