This is a 1976 (ish) Pro 1, model 6148: 3 narrow pedals, 4 teardrop knee levers (2 original, 2 bought by the previous owner from Duanne Marrs), original pickup rewound 3 years ago @ 17.5 k by Jerry Wallace, 2 hole pullers w/ round bell cranks, double raise/single lower w/ nylon tuners, original Grovers (I will toss in a spare set as well that are a bit worn out) and original case. There's a Coop half-stop on the 2nd string as well. It's been completely torn it apart and re-assembled/lubricated/calibrated, and it's playing really well, tight and quiet.

There are a few minor issues/things to note:
- most of the original aluminum? bell cranks have now been replaced with better quality brass ones from John Coop. I have more, but the pullers would need to be filed a tiny bit as they fit a bit too snug.
- the lacquer is quite checked, and there are a fair number of dings. It sounds and plays really well.
- previous owner left a bunch of extra drill holes from lever installation attempts, some are filled, some are not.
- one changer finger is quite worn. Right now it's on the low F# (7th) string (see pics), as I don't have a change there. Raising a string with that finger will cause some buzzing. I have two spare pot metal fingers from John Coop, which could be modified to fit. I just haven't had time, and it's totally fine as it is right now.
- case is a bit worn, but works great.

$1350 plus shipping, will be very well packed!

Marc,
I wonder if a good Tig welder could fill that groove?? I did that to an aluminum neck, and it worked perfectly.

Hi Guys
That monkey metal just wont weld. I've tried it on all the Bud parts and it just doesn't work. I've tried various types of rods and even tried brass. Once the chrome has gone through those top roller parts are history. Replacement is probably the only thing.

Barry, I don't think those are the "monkey metal" fingers. Those came later, I believe. Not sure though! This guitar is newer than any I have. So,,,,,, Marc, are they aluminum or "monkey metal. Cuz if they are "MM", you can't weld that stuff, and Barry is right!
