Thanks, again, John. I'll pop the neck off (I'm capable of that and take photos for the date (I'm capable of that) and get a luthier to put it back on so as not to screw it up!

You won't need a luthier Steve! Easiest thing in the world to do. It will look something like this neck pic of my "Billy Goat." December 19th, 1985

Time for me to make a cuppa Dragon Well. I'm almost out of it.

JOHN, thanks, I'm sure I could put the neck back on, but I'm not so sure I could get the action as nice as it is now. Quite frankly, I'm a guitar klutz. Very Happy stevet

Leaving for Beijing soon so this guitar is being left with a friend in Minnesota. Should anyone be interested in buying it, let me know. He's shipped some guitars for me before and is a musician himself and knows how to pack. Thanks everyone who commented in this thread or expressed an interest in this Telecaster. stevet

Steve: I may be interested. email me and maybe we agree on a a little less on the price. If not, so be it. Maybe it's not for me anyway. I don't even play guitar. I just like it. Thanks, Tommy...........

Any interest in a trade for:

1995 Kendricks Tube Amp, TC Style – Signed on label "1st T.C. Style 7-95" by Gerald Weber. (Note: Not only is this the first Model 118 in the TC Style … it is probably the only one ever made.) (As New!)

1982 Fender Deluxe Reverb II (with Electro Voice EVM 12L Speaker) I’m believing this to be originally factory installed. Export Model - Multi Voltage(Mint! … almost as New!)
