Was gifted an old termite ridden Peavey bass cabinet today and pulled out a Black Widow 18" that may be a recone but is probably OK (no rubbing) and (2)-10" Scorpions that also seem OK. Also the crossover network. Anybody have any idea of the value of these things? I'm thinking the Scorpions might really have more value than the BW - Not sure anyone still uses 18's for anything any more. Ideas?
P.S. The cabinet and it's resident wildlife went to the trash. _________________ 2013 Brook Torridge, 2014 Martin 000-18, two homebrew Teles, Evans RE200 amp, Quilter 101R head, understanding wife of 45 years. 'Steeless' at the moment but looking...... |

I remember when the Session 500 first came out, the Peavey literature said it was available with an 18-inch speaker. I never saw one, though. |

We had one of these sitting in the Customer Service department for a few years. Not sure where it was moved to though. I took it home(Ha! And you think that the Session 115 was heavy!). It sound good but I'm sure that only a couple were manufactured.
One of our engineers used it for years as a bass amplifier! |

I stuck it on E-bay for 50 bucks - I figure it oughta be worth that much _________________ 2013 Brook Torridge, 2014 Martin 000-18, two homebrew Teles, Evans RE200 amp, Quilter 101R head, understanding wife of 45 years. 'Steeless' at the moment but looking...... |
