N.T.S.G.A. Meeting

The Regular meeting of the North Tn. Steel Guitar Assoc. will be held tonight,(2/12) at the "Old Country Buffet Restaurant" on Gallatin Rd. in Madison,Tn.,at 7:00 pm.

After the meeting,several of us are going down to the "Exit In" on Elliston Pl.,to "harass" brother forumite,DAVE Van Allen,who will be peforming there w/ his band. They start at 9:00 pm. Feel free to join the "festivities".

Well,we dood it. Russ Hicks,Bob Knight,Karen & Mike Weirauch,& myself,went down & "haunted" Dave Van Allen & "Last Train Home".
It was a blast. They're very "70's underground country". Kinda like CC & the LPA,only better. They have the strangest instrumentation combination. Pedal steel,mandolin,& trumpet,but it seemed to work. Anyway,a great time was had by all.

I enjoyed Last Train Home and meeting Dave for the first time. Their band was great and Karen and I enjoyed them and their songs. Dave is a great person and a great steel player.
