Just was thinking about " Teddy & Ina Bear ". Those two could really sing Country Music great together. Ina really Loved Jeffrey Steele. And Teddy would always say,man I wish I could sing and play Bass Guitar like him. Memories of them both still filter in my mind. May you both rest in Peace. Your Friend forever, Leo J.Eiffert,Jr.

Wow Leo, Teddy & Ina Bear? I haven't thought of them in years. I just got out an old video tape of a benefit we did for Hank Cochram where Teddy and Ina sang a couple of tunes. Also he got up with our trumpet player (Gino Ciriano) and did the Louis Armstrong style vocals to "Hello Dolly"....

I think Teddy might have been one of the first or maybe even the first person I worked with when I got out of the Army in '63. The place was "Hap's Lucky Spot" a few blocks down the street from the Hitchin' Post in Gardena. It was a Friday, Saturday, & Sunday thing in that little beer bar. I remember that Teddy was still married to his first wife Frances. In the band we had a steel player they called "Little Hap" who also sang and yodeled and a female drummer/vocalist named Cookie who had a very jealous husband. I was on guitar but I can't remember who the bass player was......JH in Va.

I played lead guitar for Teddy arourd '77, before I got into steel. We played at a club called the Back Door in North Long Beach. I remember him as being a nice guy and a great singer.
