Sold to Doug Beaumier. That was quick!
Very clean, great sounding 56 Stringmaster, 22.5" scale, with original tweed case. All original except for leg rubber tips and selector switch top hat. Everything works perfectly. All the tuning gears are in excellent condition. The leg clutches are perfect. A real sweetheart.
$1,950 firm.
I will keep it here for a while before putting on eBay. This guitar belongs in the hands of a SG Forum member or other player, not a collector. I bought this instrument about 12 years ago and have since settled in on a six-string lap. Have hardly touched the Stringmaster in the last three or four years.
Best,
Bob Stone

Somebody needs to buy this beautiful guitar from Bob. I already have a '56 triple eight, otherwise I'd buy it and just drive up to get it!
These mid-50's Stringmasters sound beautiful.

Thanks Todd. Long time no see--and hear. I'll try to look you up the next time I over that way. I may be in Tarpon Springs in June.
All the best,
Bob |
